Hello🙂 I would like to share with you some info about the Erasmus+ youth exchange project called ”Origami Expression” coordinated by Se Poate Association in which I had a chance to take part 🙂
🎯The aim of the project was to make youth aware of the problem of discrimination and make them fight against this problem using origami methods.
The ”Origami Expression” project was implemented in Sinaia (Romania)🇹🇩 in December 2017.
In the project took part participants 👥from 8 countries: Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Italy, Hungary, Poland, United Kingdom 4+1 participants per country – a total of 40.
🙂It was a really great experience for me to take part in this project because during the 8 days activities I had a chance to meet new people, explore origami techniques, find out more about the phenomenon of discrimination, and took my first steps as a participant and group leader in Erasmus+ youth project.

This is another experience I have had in European projects:
The “INDIVERSO. Inclusive diverse by VET “co-financed by Erasmus+ at the Intras Foundation in Valladolid. This project is located in the area of mental health. Likewise, it has the objective of promoting the development of social and work skills and civic values such as (cooperation, solidarity, teamwork, etc.), all with the aim of creating networks between people and promoting psychosocial rehabilitation and labor.
Some lessons learned:
- Learning of new work methodologies.
- Work in the field of mental health (which unfortunately has a great stigma)
- Multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Another point of view of psychosocial intervention.
-
1. I have been a team member in over 10 Erasmus+ project, mainly under KA2 Strategic partnerships.
2. Usually the projects, that I have been involved in, are dealing with adults education, training for adults and young people
3. Ruse, Sofia, Silistra (Bulgaria)
4. Learners, both adults and students
5. Working in a multicultural big team is a challenge and a great positive experience at the same time. The Erasmus+ Programme facilitates me to obtain new skills in working with students, with adult learners; it helps me to understand how to “translate” familiar to me topics to unusual for me audiences – for instance, project cycle management for school students. Last but not least, close collaboration with people from different countries gives me unique opportunities to know different cultures.
-
1. I’m involved in the program since 2010 and I’ve been lucky enough to “taste” all actions and almost all opportunities it provides.
2. Topics vary depending on the action but mostly – human rights, media literacy, fighting discrimination and hate speech, digital skills, effective communication, volunteering, and many more
3. All around Europe and even in the last years virtually. I was very lucky to be part of projects co-funded by the program in Tunisia and Mexico too, which are outside of Europe.
4. Mostly youth 18~30, but also adolescent 13+, as well as adult learners 55+ of age.
5. The program helps you develop all kinds of new skills, together with the 8 key competencies of the Youthpass certificate, there are many more based on the topic of the project, but also based on the interactions with the other participants. Mainly communication in a foreign language, the skill to form ideas into action, leadership, and soft skills.

Hi,
I’ve been involved in the Erasmus+ world since 2016, when I attended my first Youth Exchange in Spain, a country I’ve been in love with ever since (along with being in love with Erasmus, of course😅).
In these last few years I have attended around 8 or 9 Erasmus+ projects in different countries, including some training courses, most of which addressed discrimination. The project locations included Bulgaria, Spain, Slovenia, Latvia, Romania, Moldavia and the gorgeous island of Reunion.🌴 Attending all of these projects has definitely boosted by desire to travel the world, but also helped me discover non-formal education.
In terms of learning experiences, I have mostly learned a lot about myself and I have conquered my fear of public speaking, which still has big implications for my development.
I look forward to reading about other Erasmus experiences!😊

Hello everyone! I’m Maria, 27 years old and part of the Italian team. 🙂
Over the last years, I have been part of different Erasmus+ projects as a participant and as a project manager. I’ve also contributed to the design of some European Youth Together actions, pilot actions of European Youth Foundation and to Cooperation partnerships in all fields.
One experience that I remember fondly is a training course on entrepreneurship development in rural areas, where I learned about how to build on my business idea and how to get started in a disadvantaged area like the one where I come from (a small village in the South of Italy).
The Training Course took place in Varna (Bulgaria), with the participation of young people 18-30 years old and in there I got to improve my skills and knowledge about social entrepreneurship and community building. But the thing I liked the most, as a project designer and manager, is the fact that the participation in this training course was really helpful for me, because I got to work with my peers and understand how we could join forces and bring our ideas about youth needs inside the youth project!

Hello everyone.I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to participate in this project,I have been in Romania, where I had the opportunity to meet wonderful new people, visit a nice city while we have carried out activities on one of the topics that cause me the most curiosity:female empowerment
-
I was in a European Youth Together project about the empowerment of women in Bucharest (Romania). Our target group was formed by 18-29-year-old girls from different countries (Pakistan, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Spain and Turkey).
The thing I enjoyed the most to learn was the status of women from other countries. As well, meeting the girls was fantastic because we were all nice to each other. It was a great experience I would surely recommend to anyone who is interested in this topic.

Dear all! 😊
I would love to share with you my experience with the Virago project in Sardinia, Italy this May. I met the most amazing and inspiring young women with whom I communicate until today. We had great discussions during and outside the sessions. The variety of cultures and backgrounds was something I couldn’t meet in a different setting and made a great impression on me for live.
Thank you to the whole team for making that happen!
Stay safe everyone! ✌

Hello everyone! 🙂
In March 2022 I was part of the NGO “Paralel-Silistra”’s team in a work meeting that took place at Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Turkey. This meeting was under the international project VIRAGO, financed by the ERASMUS+ program. We discussed the communication strategy, the use of the platform https://viragoproject.eu and the upcoming project activities – organizing youth exchanges in Romania, Italy, Turkey and Bulgaria. I had the opportunity to learn about the history of the region, to visit St. Pierre Church – “the first cave church in the world” and the Turkey’s largest mosaic museum in Hatay. The meeting gave me the opportunity to meet new people, to enrich my teamwork skills and to get to know new cultures, traditions and a system of reporting Erasmus project activities.

This past week I participated in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange hosted jointly by Virago and Asociația Se Poate, aimed at empowering women.
We travelled to Prahova, Romania, where we joined other young women from Romania, Italy, and Türkiye. The discussions focused on the safety of women in different cities and how domestic violence is faced in each society. Overall, I found it to be an insightful experience and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the other participants. I would also like to thank our activity leader Valeria, who organised the workshops and looked after us.
In this experience, I learnt about alternative perspectives on the role of women within each nation and how different European countries are experienced by women and girls on a daily basis. This initiative has helped me to become more confident in voicing my own opinion and has equipped me with useful interpersonal skills. I enjoyed a very short trip we made to a nearby city, Ploiesti, but think that this experience could have been improved if we had been able to visit some more of Romania, as it would have helped us to get to know the culture and see womens’ experiences in this area.

I like it because I met new people
I like it because I work as a team

Hi everyone! Last week I´ve been representing Spain with Ayuntamiento de Medina del Campo in Ploiesti, Rumania in a exchange of Virago and Associatia Se Poate with other girls from Spain, Italy, Romania and Turkey.
It was amazing, Valeria, who took care of us that week, organized some activities about the women rolls in our different countries and we learned a lot from each other because the girls from Italy were also from Cuba, Pakistan and India so we didn’t learn only about Italy, Romania and Turkey, also from the other countries and cultures.
I would have enjoy most if we had a touristic day to learn more about Romania because we were in the mountain and we stayed all day in the hotel. Anyway, I’ve improved my English skills and I ‘ve meet an amazing group of girls which I will never forget.
