[Mine]

Hi, I am Mine from Turkey. I was a part of Virago Erasmus project hosted by paralel silistra association in the city of Ruse, Bulgaria. It was a good experience for me because I had the chance to learn about Ruse, it’s important landscapes and history. That was interesting to hear about a different nation, culture, and how they have succeeded their freedom, how they have established a life in this world. Ruse has a rich, interesting and important history. I am happy for being able to learn about it. We had the opportunity to meet one of the women liders of the BTB which was a great example for us to understand lidership because she has shared her experiences with us and shared her suggestions. Also I learnt about the lidership and empowerment. I think the most important one is I realized that all people around the world even the ones in the same country or city can have different perspectives on the same subject. And it does not mean that they are wrong, it means that they are looking at one other side of the matter and we just need to respect their perspective and try to be open-minded. In this four days I have improved some skills that are going to be candles for the rest of my life. I learnt about lidership and how to be self-confident, empowered VIRAGO women with the help of three powerful women Diana Bebenova-Nikolova – Manager of Paralel-Silistra, Lora Sarkisyan, Researcher and Organiser, and Aleksandra Lyutskanova, Trainer. They were the nearest and the one of the best examples of strong, powerful women. They and Ruse hosted us very well by taking care of even the littlest problems of us. They made it easier to adopt and be more active. Thank you for everything 🙏 Hope the best for you.🤍
